Mr. O’Brien is the best 4th grade teacher. He is the best because he would make us feel better when we are sad. He would teach us the best reading things ever. Mr. O’Brien has helped me improve in reading and that's why he is the best reading teacher. Thanks to Mr O’Brien, I am now really good at reading.

One thing that makes Mrs. Heavin special is because she tells you stories and she is really sweet. I think that she is the best teacher ever and I will always remember her class. I am so happy that Mrs. Heavin is our librarian. She made my last year at Decker special.

I am honored to nominate my son’s teacher, Ms. Harris, for Teacher of the Year. Over the past three years, she has been an extraordinary influence in his life, especially as he is autistic. She doesn’t just teach; she creates a truly safe and supportive environment. She pushes him to grow and achieve, always tailoring her approach to his needs. What sets her apart is how responsive and hands-on she is—whenever I reach out with a question or concern, she responds within 24 hours. She doesn’t just educate; she inspires, and I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this recognition.

Ms. Lowe has been a huge influence on Cassie! Before our daughter started with Ms. Lowe she could barely communicate her wants and needs. Now she is speaking in full sentences and is able to have a conversation! Ms. Lowe has always kept us updated on her progress and we could not have found a better or more caring teacher than her. Her previous PK teacher did nothing but complain about Cassie and her behavior. Ms. Lowe however just helped her blossom into an amazing caring little girl. We will forever be grateful to Ms. Lowe and Ms. Liz for all they have done for Cassie.

Miss Daley is such an amazing teacher. When you share your concerns with her, she really takes matters in her own hands. What a blessing to have her in Alysia’s class. She uses a modern approach to bond and teach with/to the kids.

Mrs. Allen is awesome because she helps us and she is super funny. She has creativity. She makes me want to go to class because she has things I like. Because she is nice and kind. She gives us snacks and we do alot of fun activities in her class. She comfort us when she sees us down. She helps me when I am having difficulty to understand and she encourages me that I can do it. She tells my Auntie all the time that I makes her proud and I am a joy to be in her class. That makes my Auntie feels happy to know that I am on task and doing the right things at school so I get rewarded.

Mrs. Mathews went above and beyond to help my baby during her trying periods. She took time out of her schedule to work with her for a small grouping setting. That showed me that she truely cares and wants the kids to be successful in school. Kudos to her because it was great improvement in my baby academics and way of learning going foward. Thanks!!!
