My daughter had Mrs. Gilchrist last year in second grade. And what she taught her goes beyond the classroom. It’s something so simple, but my daughter still wont say that something is hard. Mrs. Gilchrist taught them to say that things are tricky. This has stuck with my daughter. She taught her not to give up when something is tricky but to keep working hard at it. This is something that will help her through many of life’s challenges. Mrs. Gilchrist truly goes above and beyond for her students. We were blessed to have her as our daughter’s second grade teacher.
