Mrs. Brobbey gave my son a reason to come to school throughout 7th and 8th grade. She saw him for who he was, accepted his challenges and helped him thrive. He continues to consider her a supportive adult two years out of middle school! I had an issue that needed discreet attention. Mrs. Brobbey was careful to assuage any issues and explain her procedures with compassion and skill. I still have the handwritten personalized note she gave my son on the last day of middle school. It hangs on our fridge and Landon uses it as reminder that “The world needs more people like him.” This is my heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Brobbey. I hope she receives the award because she definitely deserves it.
