Ms. McDonald is honestly one of the best teachers I’ve had. She makes class feel chill and comfortable, not stressful, which makes me actually want to show up and learn. She explains things in a way that actually makes sense, and she always makes sure everyone understands before moving on. When I was preparing for my FAST test, she really helped me a lot. She kept pushing me and encouraging me, even when I wasn’t fully confident in myself. Because of her, I ended up getting a Level 3, and that meant a lot to me. It showed me that I can do better than I think when I actually try. What really makes her stand out is how much she cares. She doesn’t just focus on grades—she checks on us and makes sure we’re doing okay. You can tell she genuinely wants us to succeed, not just in school but as people too. She’s always there to help, whether it’s with work or just giving advice. Throughout my freshman year, she’s helped me grow a lot as a person. I’ve become more confident and more serious about school because of her. She’s supported me both inside and outside the classroom, and I’m really grateful for that. Having a teacher like Ms. McDonald makes a big difference, and I won’t forget that.
