She says Miss West. She was so nice. She made us have fun. When we were at lunch, she made me want to go to lunch by buying us candy by saying I can do this. If someone bullies me, she tells them to stop bullying me and she is helpful.

Miss West. I say her because she gives me hugs and in the cafeteria. She treats me even kinder.

She is the best because she encouraged me to pass 5th and 4th grade and she encouraged me to pass the Parce test!

Dear Ms.West you are the best teacher in the school you help people out you help me and Khalie out when we need you. Your so hyped you cheer me up your actions are an inspiration to students like me and you make me feel welcomed at this school.

This Teacher in my opinion is one of the best teachers in the world she is always help us anyway she can and she even say after school to help us if our grades are be she would tell us and tell us what we need to work on.

Ms. West served as my junior high school social studies teacher. She was by far the best teacher I have ever encountered. Ms. West reported to work every day excited to teach! She always had an engaging lesson and was never low on energy! She knew the name every student she taught and the names of their siblings and parents. I have never encountered a teacher who taught with the same level of enthusiasm every day as Ms. West did. She truly cares about her students. I can still remember some of the lessons she taught. It is because of her that I have a thorough understanding of the Constitution! Ms. West cares beyond the classroom. She maintains healthy professional relationships with many of her students. We all look up to West. For many, she’s a life long mentor. It is an honor and pleasure to write this note on behalf of my most favorite teacher!!

Mrs. West is by far the most influential teacher I’ve had throughout my educational experience. She is kind, nurturing, smart and engaging but most of all she is an outstanding teacher! Mrs. West made learning fun and relevant. It is because of Mrs. West that I am a true lover American history today. There was never a dull moment in Mrs. West’s class. She came to work everyday excited to teach which inspired us to learn! I have never in my entire experience as a student experienced a teacher who exuded the level of enthusiasm she brought to her classroom everyday! Mrs. West made every student feel special. MS. west is a really good teacher from they way she interacts with us to the way she helps us learn. MS. West has a really funny, and caring personality. She is a great teacher and she gives snacks when we were in school like in person 🙂 And she is also very understand of a lot of things and she has like that grandma sassy vibe so that made her even better teacher because she feel like a grandma you can talk comfortably with. : ) : )

Hello, my name is Ana Guevara and I go to the whiter education school Campus, The teacher Ms. West has been someone very important in my life because when I started going to that school and I didn't know much English, she helped me, and she was very patient with me and when I didn't understand something she explained to me and when I wasn't feeling well she told me to sit and talk about what was happening and I love her so much.

Ms. West has made an impact on my life as well as the other students life. Every thing she does is genuine. She's very kind hearted and always tries to get the best product out of us even when we don't think we can do it. We call her Grandma because she's so very nice and sweet. She's funny and makes school interesting. Whittier couldn't ask for a better history teacher.

My name is Thu. I come from Vietnam and now I'm in 8th grade at Whittier EC school. The teacher that I want to send this blessing to is Ms.West, a gentle, warm teacher that I have never received from all the teachers I have studied in Vietnam. She helped me a lot in the first days of school. She also gave me glasses because she knew I was short-sighted, she was like an aunt to me. She cares about her students little by little, everyone who has a hard time learning just tells her, she will help her best. She is always the one my mom, my sister always mentioned when she got into my school she loves kids, she always keeps a big box of candies and snacks whenever a kid walks past class, she'll call in and give them one. So the students of my school really like to visit her class, she is always welcoming to everyone. This also makes a lot of students love her. Thank you for every single thing you do for me, Ms.West. I will be so sad because next year, I cannot meet you anymore my lovely teacher.

Ms. West is just an amazing, well rounded teacher. She is so caring of her children. She is always happy to teach, and always having a smile on her face no matter what. She makes learning fun, and interesting. I always remember coming to school very early just to see Miss West and talk, or to help her. My friends and I were always with her. In the mornings, afterschool, and during lunch. She is one of the adults at Whittier that make me feel loved and appreciated. Were all like one big family, she even calls me and my friends her grandchildren. We truly feel like we are. She always goes above and beyond for us. Even when Ms. West was thinking about retiring, we were all telling her she couldn't and that she needed to stay with us. I will forever love Miss West, and I appreciate everything she has done for me and everyone at Whittier! We love you Miss West!!

I never liked social studies, it was not my favorite subject, and I didn't do that great on it. But after I meet Ms.West, she changed my views on social studies. Ms. West is a lovely and kind teacher she genuinely cares about me and whether I understand something in her class or not. Ms. West is a teacher that I feel like I can talk to about school things and what going on in my other classes; and she would still understand. She is a special teacher because she has been through it all, so she understands me and other students when we tell her about our problems. With the fact that I am going to high school soon and everything could change Ms. West motivates us and tells us to never give up.

Ms. West has taught me so much, she approves of my art and also helps out in class. We get to do fun exciting things, ‘History through Film’ I’ve learned a lot from the movies on certain moments in history, she also makes sure we know everything before starting something new.

I would like to honor Ms. West for her dedication and commitment to her students and families. She always sends a weekly report about what the students are learning. She has been finding new and exciting ways to keep her students interested. Sometimes I like to sit and listen to her class to remind me of events in history. I’ve also learned some things from her class. She is definitely a plus to the middle school team.

I appreciate my teacher Ms. West for educating my entire 8th grade on Black Lives Matter this week for Black History Month. She took the time out of her days to let us know what Black Lives Matter is really about and what it means. She taught me things even I didn't know about the movement. For example, I didn't know that the movement was started back in 2013 because of Travon Martin and I didn't know that the movement was created by 3 black women. I just assumed that the hashtag was created and it went viral. It is important that we are educated on these topics being black in 2020 and still facing these problems, so I thank Ms. West for the opportunity.

I really love Ms. West she helped me through the 7th and now almost 8th grade. She a really helpful teacher she really cares for me and all the classmates. She takes her time to help us get good grades she even sometimes stay after school to help us with our homework. I don’t know what I would do without Ms. West she the best teacher ever.
