Ms. Mejia is the best kindergarten teacher. This is my son's first school year and she has made him feel secure and enthusiastic about attending school. She makes learning so much fun that my son always has a great story to tell when coming home. As a mom I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for him. The word "Thank you" is just not enough to show my appreciation for this amazing teacher.

Mrs. McBride is always so patient and kind. She lets us have study time in class which is very nice of her. Especially when she gives us a blooket or kahoot to study on our own time with the answers. She lets me know she cares about me by being so kind and understanding. She puts a smile on my face even when I'm having the worst mental day. She makes me a better student and confident by calling on me sometimes and making people be quiet if I say something wrong or I get the answer wrong (which is so nice of her). She has supported me outside of the classroom by nominating me for NJHS. She has also supported me inside the classroom by challenging me and pushing me to my limits. A lot of times I am excited to go to class because on my bad days I know I can walk in her classroom and she will be funny and make me smile. I am very grateful to have her as one of my teachers and I am also sad I won't have her for 7th grade.

i chose Mr. Cadondon because he always has a smile and Mr. Heser i love the band because of them. I haven't had a good experience with music class because of my previous element music teacher but my band directors have made me like music again.

Ms. Zimmer is an amazing teacher who is very helpful and kind. I always look forward to attending her class because of her positive energy and the calming presence of her animals. Ms. Zimmer shows that she cares about me by providing plenty of positive feedback and being a great listener whenever I speak to her or others. As both a teacher and a friend, Ms. Zimmer is truly amazing and helps me become a better student. She supports me daily by giving motivational speeches and not getting angry easily.

From the moment I met Mrs. Olukoga she has been nothing but a blessing. She has shown kindness that I rarely see or experienced in the school system. As a parent to a child that struggles academically, she assured me that she would help me on my journey to get my baby to where she needs to be. She has given me advice and suggestions on how I could work and help my child at home. Mrs. Olukoga answers my classdojo messages at all times. On numerous occasions she's answered questions and concerns I might have had and worked with me to find a resolution. I have reached out to her for advice on things I wasnt too sure about such as academics, education, parent-child communication and even parenthood. She has even taken my calls and answered my messages after work hours and on the weekends. I can see the improvement and growth in my baby since she been in her class. My daughter talks about how much she just loves her and loves being in her class!! I can actually see improvement and growth in my self as a parent, thanks to her! Most importantly, She has shown and proved she is not only present to teach our children academically, but she is an inspiration and positive influence on their character development. I wish there was a way she could teach other teachers how to be more like her! She is a blessing... she can help other teachers , parents and students. She is definitely a triple threat...Use her!! Whenever we speak we always say and agree "It takes a village to raise a child"! Mrs. Olukoga is definitely a part of my village and will always be! She has been teaching for almost 20 years! Please give her flowers while you can! She has truly earned them🙂

As a first time parent, I have to say, words cannot describe the amount of comfort I have with my child not only attending Smith Elementary, but also his interaction in class. I clearly remember hating going to kindergarten! Akyl LOVES his teachers, especially Ms. Jones. It takes a special type of patience to deal with a group that young and she shines doing it! There truly aren't enough words to say how wonderful, helpful, communicative, understanding.... Ms Jones is. I wish she could be Akyl's only teacher!

She has made the effort to push my daughter in the right direction for growth. I am very proud of the outcome and I’m glad my daughter has her as a pre k teacher.

My teacher is awesome because she teaches me things my mommy cannot. Things my teacher does that makes me excited to go to class is that she makes learning fun. My teacher let me knows she care about me by not only being a teacher but also treating me like a grandchild. My teacher makes me a better and more confident student by uplifting and praising the good things I do. My teacher supports me inside and outside the classroom by keeping my parents updated on all the good and bad things I do .

He is a great teacher because he is fun and funny, he teaches very good and in a cool way. He always teaches in a good mood and makes everything fun.

Always goes above and beyond to make sure all the little one are well and taken care of. If she sees any change or notices my daughter coughing more or feeling bad she is sure to let me know and keep me updated through out the day. Ms. Jones has made my daughters first year in school so amazing she is always so excited to go to school and learn new things.

There are a lot of things that make mr.heredia awesome,one of them is that he is a chill and funny person.Some things that make me excited to go to his class is knowing that he's probably going to have a calm song on and ill probably like it since he has good music taste.He lets me know that he cares about me by complimenting my work and sometimes checking up on me.If i am having a bad day he genuinely makes it better because he has a good vibe and can make anyone cheer up.He has complimented my work inside of his class and then when we would have basketball games he would usually play around with mr.victorian and wish me and my team luck.Overall i believe he is a awesome teacher.

She is a very fun and innovative teacher. My son loves to receive classes with her because she knows how to capture her attention in an interesting way and that she doesn't lose interest in continuing to learn.

One thing that makes Mrs.Cornett awesome is the way she teaches and how she presents herself in class. Something that makes me excited to go to class is whenever I see her in the morning and she sometimes tells me what the plans are for the lesson for that day. Mrs.Cornett lets me know she cares for me by being very kind, generous, and attentive in class. One thing Mrs.Cornett does that makes me feel more confident is sometimes giving me compliments in the mornings. It always made me super happy and never failed to make my day! She has supported me inside and outside the classroom by helping and allowing me to have extra time if needed. I think she's pretty nice and I'm glad to have her as my language and literature teacher. 🙂

Ella no's enseña muchas cosas , I me interesa saber de estas estrategias. Nos dice que cuando venimos a la escuela aprendemos muchas cosas. Nos preocupa sí nuestros grados son malos o si no venimos a aprender. Ella nos enseña muchas cosas y lo explica muy bien .Ella nos dice unas reglas afuera y adentro del aula en nivel 0 y que nos portamos. Ella es una buena maestra.
