This teacher is honestly just a great teacher in general and I love her very much

I think Ms.Acevedo is great because she is very interactive in the classroom room and I think her teaching methods are great for the ib learning environment because she is always very animated but also very professional at the same time shes always follows the teachers and makes sure the students are successful in what they're doing and making sure they understand what she's teaching I know this because one time I didn't understand a part of what she was teaching along with some other students so she did a minilesson simplifying it and breaking it down into smaller pieces making it easier to understand and helping us make the connections I would also like to point out that if she gets teacher of the year she could use the money to help decorate her classroom further because as i mentioned before she is very animated but also professional with her classroom decorations and materials this is why I think Ms.Acevedo should be the teacher of the year

Mrs. A has a fun bubbly personality that makes learning fun. She also has a positive attitude and explains things in a scientific but kid level way. Mrs A always calls us beautiful wonderful children even when we make mistakes. She makes me more confident by telling me that I am smart and capable of great things. I have gone to Mrs. A about personal problems and she has given me advice and guided me through it. I love Mrs. A, and that's why I think she should win this award!

Ms. Acevedo has made science class so fun for me this year. I love all her timers and slide shows. She has shown me that science class can be so much fun. She also showed me how to solve science problems and taught me alot about science and I am one very lucky student to have a teacher like Ms. A

This teacher is incredible. She has major grades every week so if we dont do good on assaignments like a reading passage or a video mini lesson, we can signifigantly improve our grade with these major grades that contain information we already learned during classtime. If we volunteer for something, she will either give us PBIS points (a store that has items in exchange for "PBIS points") or glucose ( a peppermint). This makes the classroom very engaging. Occasionally, she has guided notes with questions that we move around the room for. Overall, it is very fun and engaging in Ms. Acevado's class, and i believe she deserves this award

This teacher guides us with our work by making other students read the reading passage out loud or making the students give us the answers on a mini assignment for better understanding on the topic along the way. She makes me excited to go to class because her class is a challenge that I look forward to beating. She lets us know that she cares by sending us a review on our Do Now and telling us what we can do better. She can make us a better and more confident student by showing that her class is the hardest. This helps because if we can do her class, we can do any class in the school. She has supported us inside and outside of the classroom by giving us just the right amount of time on her assignments in her class, and if we can't finish it in class, she allows us to do it at home.

My 7th science teacher is great because of her burning desire for teaching and her excitement to share her wisdom with her students. She can make even the hardest scientific questions look simple and easy to understand. Her teaching methods are various to the needs of her students. She is always available for extra help and encourages us to ask questions and seek for clarification

Honestly... Why is this a debate? Mrs Acevado of MYP2 Science Is one of the most deserving teachers of the year. After being with her for 7 months I can doubtlessly say she is the BEST science teacher in the district. She is a multi-talented highly energetic science teacher who brings joy to your day as soon as you enter her class. She brings such bright happy energy to the school of SVMS as even 8th graders from next door are coming to visit her and check on their former science teacher cause she was THAT GOOD. Honestly, the fact that this writing is coming from the top of my head of the cool things she has done is jaw-dropping. If I took an hour to pre-plan this and write this persuading paragraph would be longer than the tax book. Mrs Acevado is such a bright happy and funny teacher who can bring confidence to you by volunteering you forcefully her criticism isn't sugar-coated or harsh just biased so you can improve on your work and is overall an unrivaled teacher., Put her against any science teacher she will win. she supports students in the classroom by giving them ideas and teaching us academic honesty and academic struggle and has taught us how these can apply to the world outside and is getting us prepared slowly yet surely. Mrs Acevedo is the most reliable, time-efficient teacher you will ever have in the district. at this point, it's not fair to make her a nominee cause she will win.

This teacher is awesome because she is so nice and she isn't appreciated for it but I would and will appreciate her from now on she makes me excited to go to class because she is an amazing teacher and she pick out the most amazing videos for us to watch to learn science I know she cares about me because she says and shows it.

I choose Mrs. A because she makes learning fun and shows that she cares because she always asks if we need help, explains the stuff well, and ensures everyone is on the same page. Also, she gives us good advise for the future when we're older, and for the present time.

I chose this teacher for many reasons. She is careful with her words and helps us with all our work. She sacrifices her time to tutor children that need it as well. Ms. Acevedo has energy at all times and makes me excited to go to class. She constantly reminds us that she loves us and cares for us, even while we're being difficult. Ms. Acevedo reminds me that I am smart and that helps me be confident. She has supported me on the volleyball court and in the classroom. She is proud of us at all times.

What makes this teacher awesome is that they make learning fun. One thing they do to meke me excited to go to class is that they give us candy if we participate. the let us know that they care about us is by telling us life examples and letting us know that they are only trying to better us to be successful in life by making sure we do the right thing. They complete our work to make us students more confident. They have supported me inside of class by leading me in the right direction.

Mrs. Acvedo is a great teacher

she gives us a lot of work but if you just do it you will learn something out of it you just have to put in the time. and if you don't get something she will make sure that you will be able to do it and be successful. I like to go to her class because she has things under control and she is goofy sometimes and it does not get out of hand.I know that she cares about not just me but everybody because she makes sure every person Is passing and she is very nice to everybody. most people say she's mean it's just she gets on to them because they are doing something wrong and they think she's just mean. She is always making sure that you have the hang of what you are doing so whenever we are doing something like a test or an exam then most of us will pass as long as we have been putting in the work. She supports me in the class because she always makes sure I have good grades and if I don't she will make sure to help me and outside of class she will write me a email to tell me that i have missing assessments so i can get them done.
