Ms.Wiley taught me how to be my best self. I have been constantly told I rush through my work over and over again, but Ms.Wiley had not to do that in a specific way. Most teachers just gave me extra work but Ms.Wiley made me highlight important concepts and review why I rushed too fast and made a mistake. That has taught me how to do my work effectively. She also shows deep care for her students. Let's say a student is having a bad day she will sit there and listen, and comfort them when needed. If a student needs help she makes them come to her so she can help them understand. She also signs off on all of our work to give us checkpoints to make sure we are doing it correctly. This shows her love for her students. She also puts us in groups we didn't expect to allow us to learn and collaborate with our peers. She makes her work challenging enough to make us think but not so it will be impossible. Which I love about her class. Overall she is an amazing teacher and any student would be lucky to have her.

This teacher has always been very kind and always had a bright atmosphere. I know I'll enjoy my school day a bit more knowing I get to go to his class. He isn't extremely strict which is something I really like about teachers. Being too strict not only gives me unnecessary pressure but also gives me a very uneasy feeling, worrying when I'll slip, which is why Stewart is such a good teacher. He has always been understanding of any situation that I face, allowing me to catch up on work for other classes when it became too overwhelming. Without his reassurance, I wouldn't have been able to keep up with my work. I know that Stewart genuinely cares not only for me but for all his students. I know this because he would always listen to students whether it was opinions, stories to tell, questions, personal problems they were facing, etc. Knowing that there isn't a class that I feel extreme pressure in makes me feel a little more confident that I'll do well in school. He has supported me so many times that I can't count. Stewart has always been a great overall teacher and I really hope he knows that.

I like biology.

Mr.Solis has always helped me out when needed. In debate when I thought I was screwed he gave me hope to keep on going. Even though I didn't want to he still told me to keep trying. Then I ended up doing pretty well and almost getting the best speaker. Without this help, I would have never made it that far. I also have him for Spanish and in that class. He gives all students the opportunity to receive help and clearly states are assignments. He also tests the people who already know some Spanish, which is always a fun experience. If people wouldn't say he is an awesome teacher, they would not know him.

What makes Mr. Stewart awesome is his very playful personality. He is always passionate about what he is teaching which makes me excited to go to his class. I know he cares about me because he always listens to me when I want to talk to him about anything. He makes me a better and more confident student by telling me that he believes I'm a great student and that I can get in all of my work. He has surprised me inside and outside of the classroom by having a wonderful and fun personality.

What makes Mr Stewart awesome is the fact that he can relate to his students and talk to them on an equal level. He has a genuine passion for what he does and I would say he's the most qualified to teach the subject that he teaches. Mr Stewart is the kind of person to hold himself accountable and correct his mistakes instead of making excuses for himself. He's understanding and has realistic standards while also helping students when needed.

This teacher is awesome because hes so chill about everything and he helps me out with my work and is overall a great teacher. He shows he cares by helping me and giving me an extension if i missed something or didn't understand. He makes me feel 10x smarter than I actually am. He as supported and help me inform me on whatever it is i want to be informed.

Ms. Wiley is always there for me. Ever since we gotten a closer bond, I just love how she's always there for me inside and outside of the classroom. She always keeps it real with me and she knows what's up whenever my mood is down. I want her to understand that I really appreciate her with all of my little heart and she has helped me shift to the better student that I am today.

What makes Mr Hamilton awesome is the fact that he genuinely cares about the students that he has and makes an impact on them. He gives students a chance to redeem themselves and holds them accountable. I know Mr Hamilton cares about his students because he checks up on each one, each student he can find something to talk to them about. He cares about the mental health of his students and their academic performance as well.

Mr.Stewart is a chill teacher, he is friendly and welcoming towards all his students and knows what he and every one of the likes. For example, he talks with me about basketball but he can also alternate and talk about tiktoks with another student. He is very welcoming to his classes, he barley gives out a lot of work, which we all like.

Ms. Wierzbicki has never faltered when it comes to teaching her students. She has a notable passion for the subject she teaches, and her love for chemistry carries over to her lessons. During science labs, she not only captivates every student with various experiments, but she also wants them to learn something new along the way. In her class, she holds the element of curiosity to a high standard because it allows you to learn. Furthermore, she helps her students inside and outside of the classroom by giving feedback on assignments and projects so that they earn the best grades possible. She will answer every and any question a student may have without hesitation. Knowing this fact has made me more confident in approaching her for any concerns I may have about the class. Ms. Wierzbicki is a great teacher because she is passionate about both her craft and her students, making her an intriguing person to have as a teacher.

My daughter enjoys Mrs. Ricketts class. She’s good at explaining the material. My daughter has been improving in math and English. Per my daughter, she is kind and smart teacher!

My son’s teacher is awesome because of her ability to meet the students where they are. My son has difficulty adapting to new environments and changes within his familiarity. I was concerned with him going to kindergarten. At Meet the Teacher Night I expressed my concerns to Mrs. McNeese and sent said “Don’t worry, I got him.” Hearing his challenges didn’t discourage or scare her. She took the time to learn my child while he was learning her. My son is excited to come to school and loves Mrs. McNeese.

Ms. Larimer has been the teacher I always look forward to seeing everyday. She is enthusiastic, fun, and knows how to teach. She not only tries to be a good teacher, but she wants to be our friend, too. I have learned so much from her, including new techniques I never would have thought of. She approaches learning in a new way while meeting the curriculum standards. She will also do the work with us. For example, with the books we are reading in class, she will read them with us and help us through if we don't understand it or are struggling. The book we are reading right now is hard and very confusing, but Ms. Larimer is helping us break it down and helped us through it, reading parts to us in class and giving us assignments that help us learn better. She has made me a better and confident student by showing me it is okay to stand up and ask for help or ask a question about something I don't understand. She has helped me improve my writing and encourages us to approach reading in a fun way. Ms. Larimer is truly one of the best teachers I have ever had, and I am so thankful to have her.

Ms. Wiley is super duper awesome because she is always there for me and is the one of the few teachers I have truly ever trusted. She is the first person that comes to mind when I need help with a problem, being academic or personal. I am not the type of person who bases their school days making friends with all the teachers nor am I the person who tries to always stay talking to them. I prefer to keep a respectful relationship but with Ms. Wiley it was really easy to joke around and be serious at the same time. She makes me feel comfortable, gives understanding and is very direct with her instructions and advice which I greatly appreciate. Some things Ms.Wiley does that get me excited to go to her class is really just the positive energy that radiates from miles away. She does not have fear in showing her mood that day or how happy she is or if it is not her day which I find nice because it shows the reality of life. I love how even when she is not in the best mood, when she teaches or conversates with students she immediately smiles and makes everyone feel welcomed and safe. Ms. WIley lets me know she cares about me by showing patience and truly listening when I am having a personal converstaion with her. Ms. Wileys advice and trust I have in her make me feel more confident and not as scared as before to go up to her desk and ask for help with whatever it is I need in the moment. Ms. Wiley has supported me inside the classroom by not getting frustrated and being happy to re-explain any instructions I did not undertsand and showing verbal praise/approval when I complete my work and do it right. Ms. Wiley has also supported me outside the classroom setting by letting me come by and visit her in need of advice of any type, wether it be academic to personal advice that is bugging me. Ms. Wiley is my favorite teacher and the best teacher and I would love to thank her.

An outstanding teacher & person. She has helped my child improve with his letters & words at a fantastic rate. During our parent/teacher meeting, she gave us useful advice on how to help my child improve at home. She gave us books & materials to help also. She keeps me updated on everything event & assignment. If I could go back & choose a teacher to teach my child, I’m choosing Ms. McNeese everytime.

Ms. Restrepo has made my child’s first year of school AMAZING! I have seen incredible academic growth. She is great at communicating what skills specifically I need to work on with her. My child is not a morning person but she is excited every morning to see her teacher and receive her daily hug . I am very pleased and thankful with the emotional and academic support my daughter has received from Ms. Restrepo.

Mrs. Neikirk encapsulates everything we want in a teacher: kind, focused, organized, great communicator, knowledgeable, and generous. From the beginning of the school year, Mrs. Neikirk has communicated clearly and timely with parents, helping us support our children as she guides them through the academic and socio-emotional work of second grade. Mrs. Neikirk has been excellent at instituting and maintaining routines with the children such that they know what is expected of them and when. She has also been amazing at reinforcing the students' good behavior -- I know that my daughter is very proud every time Mrs. Neikirk comments on her achievements as a class citizen! The event that really solidified my appreciation of Mrs. Neikirk took place when we needed further explanation about how our daughter did on an iReady assessment. Mrs. Neikirk went above and beyond the call of duty, consulted with colleagues, and gave us such an in depth answer that we were able to not only understand the iReady assessment better but also identify gaps in our daughter's understanding of certain math concepts. Truly impressive. We are so grateful to have Mrs. Neikirk as our daughter's teacher!

She helps me when I get stuck on a math problem.

At the beginning of the year, I was nervous because of what the older students said about Mrs. Landrew's work. However, there was nothing to be nervous about as Mrs. Landrew is one of the most caring teachers at SECA. She may assign a lot of work that kids aren't used to, but I know that the assignments have helped me come far in my writing, reading, and even communicating with other kids and teachers. Her classroom environment is one full of peace and a sense of comfort as I know no one will be judged there. From all of this, I see Mrs. Landrew as a kind, caring, and passionate teacher, who does what is best for her students.

Mrs. Gant is the preschool teacher that every child deserves! She is a natural educator who truly understands children. Mrs. Gant takes the time to get to know each student individually and discover what makes them unique. She works to understand them, and then using that knowledge to help them grow. She encourages their interests as she guides them through the foundations of academics and behavior. My son doesn't make it easy, but his teacher's love for him is evident and unwavering. Under her guidance, he has matured and grown in ways I didn't know were possible. She always interacts with parents with positivity and focusing on growth rather than deficits. Thank you Mrs. Gant, for helping my child and so many others prepare for a successful kindergarten year and school career.
