Lucy loves Mrs. Guillen l. She’s does for many reason, but mainly because Mrs. Guillen has taught her so much. Mrs. Guillen has patience and determination and has used those skills to teach all of her kindergarteners how to read and write in TWO languages. This would have been no small feat of the kids were in-person, but this was all over Microsoft Teams. Not only has Mrs. Guillen taught them mathematics, reading, writing, and two languages, she has passed on her skills of patience, inclusivity, kindness, and structure, to name a few. We as parents would not have been able to get through this year without the help of Mrs. Guillen. She has provided comfort and a sense of normalcy for all her students. She is Lucy’s and the other kindergarteners a rock in their lives in a VERY important year in their educational development.
