Ms. Pelaez taught my 3 year old son, Lazlo, virtually, since November when he joined the PK-3 DL with an IEP. She welcomed him with open arms and was there for him, his development, and our family everyday. She helped give us tips to help him get through potty training. She always had a smile on her face and was ready to share no matter how many 3 year olds were staying focused. Lazlo has since joined in-person learning as of term 4, but he still mentions Ms. Pelaez's name often when naming toys or pretending there are characters at school. Thank you for loving our son as if he was your own. Your joy of teaching was evident and warmed our hearts. It was hard for all of us to leave your class.
