I wasn't sure how the transition from daycare to school would go, but my son has absolutely thrived under Ms. Shepherd's guidance and leadership. He is excited to go to school every morning, and talks endlessly about his teachers, his classmates, and their lessons (lots of tree/Fall talk these days). It's obvious Ms. Shepherd cares deeply about her students, and she goes above and beyond to solicit donations for her classroom. Ms. Shepherd has been an amazing introduction to Barnard and DCPS, and we couldn't be happier.
