Ms. Baker has 2 tiny children at home and volunteered to come to teach in person at Deal on Wednesday mornings to help children that have been struggling with virtual learning. Our son Asher was lucky enough to get a spot in person on Wednesday mornings with Ms. Baker. She is a science teacher but is now teaching all subjects on Wednesday mornings- she is learning all the subjects so that she can help teach and support her children on Wednesday mornings. Our son Asher tells us that Ms. Baker is so nice and that he is learning a lot and getting caught up. He is so much happier now that he has this in-person time with Ms. Baker. It is making a big difference for him.
