I didn't come to Deal from a feeder school, I came from a tiny charter school with fewer than 50 kids per grade. And so I didn't know anyone and I was really overwhelmed on my first day with the huge building and all the people. Mr. Siddiqui welcomed me into his classroom and made me feel like I belonged. He always asked questions that made me think deeply about the world around me. Mr. Siddiqui was one of the best teachers I've ever had.
